An education that shapes more than a future. It shapes a life
At Providence School of Arts, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to flourish. Education is about more than what students know or what they achieve. It is about who they become.
From the earliest years of discovery through high school graduation, we seek to cultivate students who grow in character, put their faith into action, pursue lifelong learning, live with intention, and recognize the beauty of God’s creation.
Our graduate profile, A Life Changed Through Providence, reflects the five qualities we hope to see taking root in every student as they grow in knowledge, faith, creativity, and purpose.

the five qualities of a providence graduate

A Fruitful life
Becoming more like Christ
We desire for students to be transformed by the Spirit of God, reflecting His love in the way they live and relate to others. Through the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—we seek to cultivate lives that reflect the character of Christ.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” — Galatians 5:22–23

Faith in action
Living life In love and service
We want students to understand that faith is more than what we believe; it shapes how we live. Students are encouraged to serve Jesus in every area of life, using their gifts to love their neighbors, serve their communities, and contribute to the flourishing of others.
“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” — James 2:17

life-long learner
Cultivating curiosity and a desire to grow
Learning is a lifelong journey. We encourage students to ask questions, seek understanding, embrace challenges, and remain open to growth and transformation. Through academics, the arts, and experiences beyond the classroom, students explore God’s creation and discover their place within it.

Intention
Living purposefully and stewarding what God has given
We want students to take responsibility for their choices, commitments, and God-given gifts. By cultivating discipline, integrity, and a commitment to excellence, students learn to approach their work and relationships with purpose, faithfully stewarding what has been entrusted to them for the glory of God.

ADMIRATION OF BEAUTY
Recognizing God’s creativity and reflecting it in the world
We believe beauty points us toward the creativity of God. Through the arts, engagement with creation, and opportunities to create and perform, students develop an appreciation for beauty and discover ways to express their own creativity. We want them to recognize, cultivate, and contribute beauty wherever they go.
