Elementary Fine & Performing Arts

every child has something to express

Imagine your child stepping onto a stage with confidence, discovering the joy of creating something beautiful, or finding their voice through music, movement, and storytelling.

At Providence School of Arts, the arts are an essential part of how children learn, grow, and discover their gifts. Our elementary students participate in daily classes in music, dance, visual arts, and theater, giving them regular opportunities to explore new skills, express themselves creatively, and develop confidence.

Through the arts, students learn more than technique. They practice discipline, collaboration, perseverance, creative thinking, and the courage to try something new.

FROM THE CLASSROOM TO THE STAGE

Our elementary students don’t just study the arts—they get to share them. Each year, students participate in two major productions that bring their learning to life and give them the opportunity to create something meaningful together.

Straight Outta Bethlehem
A Providence tradition that celebrates the story of Christmas through student performance, music, and theatrical storytelling. Students come together to share the joy and meaning of the season with their community.

Annual Spring Production
The Elementary students will perform a Broadway musical that has been adapted for young artists. Our productions to date include: A Year in the Life of Frog and Toad Jr., The Lion King Jr., Finding Nemo Jr., Matlida Jr., and more.

From rehearsals to the final curtain, students learn the value of preparation, teamwork, resilience, and celebrating one another’s gifts.

A STAGE FOR
EVERY STUDENT

Not every child dreams of being in the spotlight. But every child deserves the opportunity to discover what they’re capable of creating. At Providence, we want students to grow in confidence, appreciate beauty, express themselves, and learn to use their gifts with purpose.
